Sort & Group – take stock
This is where I will usually begin. Before putting things in a designated space, it’s best to know what you have. It also helps with the de-stuffing process, by revealing duplicate items and the ones you forgot you had.
De-stuff (de-clutter) – reclaim your space
Although I believe that you should keep the things you truly love and can’t bear to part with, often stuff will accumulate that has gone unused or even looked at for many years. It’s probably time to let go!
Maintenance – keep it in order
Once your space is organized, you will want to keep it that way! But when daily living takes its toll on your space, I can help put it back in ship-shape order.
Remember, messy does not always mean disorganized. It means you’re living in and using your space to its fullest potential.

When packing with your new location in mind, your items can be sorted to their new space even before they get there. It is also a good time to purge since you don’t want to pay to move something you’re not going to use.
